Transparent and Simple
At Zan Mitrev Clinic, we strive to make the payment process transparent, simple and clearly defined. Below you will find information about payment methods and procedures related to private health insurance.
How Is the Hospital Bill Covered?
The payment process depends on whether you have health insurance or not.
Patients with Health Insurance
Zan Mitrev Clinic collaborates with numerous domestic and international insurance providers.
If you have valid health insurance, you are required to:
- Submit your insurance information before admission
- Obtain approval from your insurance provider for the planned procedure
In most cases, the insurance provider covers the costs directly with the clinic. However, in certain situations, the following may be required:
- The patient to pay for the service in advance
- Reimbursement from the insurance provider afterward
Your insurance provider will inform you about the specific procedure.
Important:
Some insurance policies may not cover:
- Personal expenses (accompanying person costs and additional services)
- Implants or specific medical materials
- Medical aids (crutches, braces, prosthetics, etc.)
Please check the scope of your coverage with your insurance provider in advance.
If the insurance provider declines or delays payment, the outstanding amount will become the responsibility of the patient.
For international patients using international health insurance:
- A copy of the insurance policy must be submitted in advance
- The clinic may request a guarantee of coverage for the expected costs
Depending on the agreement with the insurance provider, expenses may be covered directly or reimbursed afterward.
If the insurance provider declines coverage or delays approval, the patient is responsible for settling the bill with the clinic.
Patients without Health Insurance
If you do not have health insurance:
- Advance payment before admission is required
- The remaining balance is settled upon discharge
In certain cases, full payment before the procedure may be required.
The amount depends on:
- Type of procedure
- Length of hospitalization
- Type of treatment
During your stay, you will be regularly informed about any additional costs. If an overpayment is made, the excess amount will be refunded.
Payment Methods
The clinic offers multiple payment methods. For more detailed information, our administrative team will assist you during admission or appointment scheduling.
